Nearby Vienna at only 477m, this is an almost surreal mountain scenery fit for Heidi or the Trapp's. After meeting up at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), a train and bus will take us to the start of our hiking route. First we walk up a steep-ish forest trail until reaching the Apple Cider plateau. From here we continue our route, passing Charlie's Lookout with stunning views until arriving at the actual alp. Following a former cable car track, we descend to a forest hut and further down along an atmospheric creek. A hidden, mountain-hugging pathway will lead us back to the bus stop for our return trip to Vienna Main Station.
Underway we'll have fun with ice breakers, discussion prompts and local trivia.

A hosted hiking trip into nature with plenty of socializing and fun. While exploring some of the best trails in the region, we enjoy learning about Austria and each other's countries.
All our events are recreational, so average fitness is fine. They are not advisable for people with heart or lung issues though. We also thank everyone in advance for not smoking during our events.
Usually we're a mix of professional Vienna expats and Austrians with international background. Sometimes there's also travellers or digital nomads. Average age ranges between 25 and 55. Unfortunately, dogs or other pets are not permitted at our events. If we're lucky, we might spot some wildlife underway though.

For ideal group dynamics, the number of participants is limited. Please book as early as possible, because full = full. Also, any RSVP's on external platforms (Meetup/Facebook/...) are optional and not representative of current availability.
